is a community music resource that maintains a fleet of 30 pianos. The foundation is a registered, not for profit organization with 501 (c) 3 tax status recognition. It was created in 1994 to give motivated youth in the Portland, Oregon metro area access to music and piano. We have created a new interactive scholarship coupled with a support program to enhance this learning opportunity.

Our scholarships provide the in-home use of a piano for a minimum of one year and a maximum of three. Scholarships are awarded based on need, merit, and accountability. The PSF provides a balanced program of education, motivation and support to help students throughout the first difficult years of learning. The program includes a series of three annual events, an interactive music notebook filled with helpful materials, and access to our PSF sheet music library. The first PSF scholarship was awarded in 1994 and as of 2001, we have awarded 50 scholarships.

The mission statement of the Piano Santa Foundation is "Enriching Life Through Music."

We strive to enact this statement by supporting the motivated youth of our community through this unique scholarship program.
